What breed do you think it is?
I read a post today about the Top 10 Most Popular Breeds of Backyard Chickens.
I agree with most of the picks but I'd probably add:
Red Star
Delaware
Campine

Would breeds would you add or subtract from this list?
I'm looking at purchasing a predator protection light by Solar Nite Eyes and want to know if anyone has experience with these. Do they work?
Any ideas would be helpful.

A friend just added a big wheel to her already portable coop from http://HandcraftedCoops.com
This is one handy chicken coop... hell, I could drive that thing to work now!
Modeled on the classic chicken ark that has served British hen-keepers
for decades, our large portable coop provides a comfortable and healthy
home for up to 5 medium laying hens or 7 Bantams.
All handcrafted chicken coops are made using plantation-grown,
renewable Douglas Fir timber. Douglas...
I came across this great list of current laws and ordinances for keeping chickens
in cities throughout the USA - (they also have some really nice coops for sale) - see:

Does anyone know of any other current lists like this?

I just took delivery of a new Chicken Coop .
I bought it on Amazon for $559 including shipping.
It's a British 'Ark' design with a covered run and upper roosting area.
My hens finally have a new home after being in makeshift digs for sometime. They've really taken to it.
You can see the coop...
