    dumb question- when to start counting days?

    I put them in the incubator about 9.30pm - so do I start counting from then (ie that was day 1) or from the next full day ( ie tomorrow is day 1) before I get to day 18 and take out the egg turner? Thanks! Sian

    Sigh - up ALL night fiddling with the incubator

    Temp went up to 104 (on day 20) now I'm fiddling around with it to try to get back to 102. Not happy with LG incubator. Hubby bought me a fan and will try that next. Sigh. Going to play with 2 week old Lakenvelder living in family room - need baby chick hugs!

    BAH! Can't import Andalusian Eggs from Spain :-(

    I was really excited. My parents live in Spain and I've been trying to persuade them to bring Andalusian hatching eggs with them when they come over on 12/21. Now I find out that no hatching eggs can be imported from Spain b/c they had a couple of cases of AI. Like we didn't???? Sigh.....
