    Slugs in the coop

I'm not too worried about this, but I have noticed slugs in the open part of my coop at night and they get under the watered in the coop. Yuck! I don't know if the birds know they are there.

    Is this poop normal?

My hens are about 20 weeks and no one is laying yet. I have 3 heritage reeds and 3 comets. Not sure who did this.

What do you do to change laws or get permission?

I live in a small town in NC. I called the town hall today and was told I can't have any fowl unless I have 2 acres. I would LOVE to have chickens and am very frustrated. What can I do? Is there a way to get permission, or is it a lengthy process that involves changing laws? Thanks for your advice!
