Could use some feedback on Muscovy Hybrid situation.

I have a Scovy 'mule' drake, Panda, fm a surprise hatching last summer. I had planned on keeping him since he was such a cutie and figuring he wouldn't be adding to Scovy gene pool wouldn't cause to much of a problem. He does 'breed' the Scovy hen's every chance he gets and DH tells me that...

Graced w/pair of Scovy Mules... Lots of PIC's!!

I was surprised ... and graced w/a pair of Scovy mules this summer. Odin being the Scovy drake and Willow (r.i.p.) a Blue Swedish buff X. Odin had left Willow alone as long as I had Jack, a feisty Call drake, who met his demise by a predator about 3 wks earlier & I hadn't seen him breeding...

    It's what BOY's do!

You can be pretty sure you have a Scovy draklet, if at only 1wk old it sticks out its little baby chest as far as it can, runs up to the BIG daddy drake, Odin, and "tells" him to "move it" that's "His puddle!"

Anyone train their Shelties as stockdogs?

We have a 3.5yr old Sheltie, Abby, that we've had for only a few weeks. She's really taken an interest in "helping" me when I'm herding the Scovies and esp. when I am trying to separate out our big blue drake fm running our chocolate drake ragged. I was amazed at how well she did today...

DH made the call to the vets today, I just couldn't. We made the decision to have our sweet Sheltie, Shelby Lynn, put down. Just a few more hours. She was diagnosed with CRF a month or so ago and no matter what we have done to help her feel better and keep her w/us for awhile longer...

I've been looking around and am a bit confused .... are these snowy Calls, silver or what? Also, does the dark head on the one indicate a drake? They are young and not quite feathered out fully. TKS!!!!
