    Moving with 3 hens

    Not sure where to post this question but I am wondering what the best way to transport 3 hens for a five hour drive. Would a cardboard box be ok? Should I put any fruit or food in the box or just bedding? Thanks

    I'm new to hatching have only hatched coturnix quail with pretty good hatch rate. My Question is can I put duck eggs and chicken eggs in the incubator at the same time or will the humidity not work because of the different hatch dates? I have a chance to get duck and chicken eggs at the same time.

    Hot weather shipping?

    My eggs were shipped on July 1 I received them on the 5th set them the same day. One hatched today! Apparently hot weather shipping incubates the eggs! Hopefully someone else will hatch tonight because this little one is very lonely!! Thanks Alex I can't wait to see the hatch rate.

    I have been giving my coturnix ice cold cucumber halves in this hot streak. They now see me coming and are right by the door waiting for their treat! Lots of liquid and a cold drink. Any other ideas?
