White silkie Roo in need of loving home. Hes sweet, he’s beautiful, he’s young and hes loud. New Jersey, southern part of the state. Will travel for him.
He is absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately today he kicked my husband in the calf. I know he’s only angry because there’s another rooster in our yard. But these guys are rare and beautiful.
If anyone has any advice I’m open! We currently have a broody silkie who hatched our leghorns egg. She has raised her and taught her everything these last 10 weeks. She currently sleeps with her under her wing.
So now my leghorn has decided she’s broody and is laying on unfertilized eggs since...
our silkie has been brooding on our leghorns egg, which was fertilized by our silkie too! It hatched last night! See the little yellow head? Her legs and butt are black! I can’t believe how crazy excited we are?!
