    Roosters combs turned black

I have a flock of 22 hens and 3 roosters. This morning when I went to feed them two of the roosters were exhibiting very black combs. One of the roosters in an australorp and the other is a wyandotte-cochin cross. As far as I can tell they were both fine yesterday. The wyandotte-cochin also...

Can I use my hen to hatch Guineas?

My hen has recently gone broody and I'd like to get a few fertilized eggs for her to sit on. We are looking for some guinea fowl and I'm wondering if she would successfully hatch and raise guinea chicks. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm a newbie so any suggestions are appreciated.
