I received a "free exotic chick" from McMurray and I have no idea what it is. One of these is an Easter Egger and one is the exotic, but neither look anything like my other Easter Eggers!
Any ideas?
Thanks!
The white one with the red saddle...
I got another one! Looks exactly like the first one. Is this too weird? Should I be concerned about my chicken? Here's the pic of the first one, the second is the same size and color.
Today I found a teeny tiny egg in the nestbox! It's smaller than my bantam's eggs, and has the same colors and appearance as the eggs my Welsummers produce (dark brown and spotted). These chickens are almost 3 or 4 years old (bought them as adults). Is this just an oops egg, or could there be...
I had 11 eggs in my incubator and only one gold-laced wyandotte hatched. S/he seems lonely and kinda chirpy, but I don't know where I can find another baby chick this time of year! I'm in eastern Iowa. Anyone have any ideas? Or will Fluffy be okay alone?
Thanks!
