Okay so I've Identified the problem.
1. clean coop / nesting boxes of all liter.
2. wash roost in Linseed Oil / Keroseen mix
3. Spray coop / nesting boxes in permethrin
4. Allow to dry.
5. Build Indoor dustbox (raining season here until next june)
6. Fill box with woodstove ashes and DE (Food...
It seems the rooster got a little over eager and the rest of the flock got at the wound and now there is a large chunk of skin hanging off the back of her neck. Do I cut it off? it' appears dead at this point.
