I just thought I would provide some comment on an order I placed with metzer Farms.
We were interested in adding Buff American Geese to the madness, and placed an order online.
Now, we all know it is important to order at least 8 goslings to protect them during shipping.

On a "I always wanted to" whim, we set 3 dozen pheasant eggs on the 17th of April.
There has to be at least 2 dozen running around the brooder. Kind of hard to count the little buggers.
I will count the non-hatch eggs after the turkey hatch is complete.

Well I spent the morning doing a thorough cleaning of the sportsman.
It has been 3 weeks since we sorted birds.
Almost everyone is laying, less the Wheaten Marans, who are messing with me by laying only one egg every 3 or 4 days. (There are 13 Hens / Pullets)
