i use geese and have not lost a chicken to predators in 2 1/2 years since i got them. they do a better job than my pitbulls in the yard at guarding from people an predators. just wondering if anyone else use a different species of animal to guard?

I Am about to build 2 breeding pens to house 1 roo and 3 to4 hens at a time.just would like suggestion on it and ask if 5 by8 is big enough to house for a few weeks when breeding.
