My hens are just getting going, they were hatched in mid March. The first one started two weeks ago, two of the four haven't yet gotten with the program.
I got my day old chicks at the feed store in Petaluma. They also have them at Scotts Valley feed near Santa Cruz, Halfmoon bay feed, and at the feed store in Vallejo. Not sure about the east bay.
