I'd like to thank everyone for replying to this forum. I did make a purchase and am waiting on the HovaBator Genesis 1588 w/ Turner to be shipped! So excited. :)
Yeah and thats just for the 7 egger. lol. The octagon 40 advance ex was the one I was looking at by brinsea and it is 758$ - more than the 1502 sportsman cabinet incubator. I've heard really good reviews on the brinsea, if they were a couple hundred$ lower than I'd probably make a purchase :)
Thanks! Will probably get the 1588 if I get one.
Does anyone know where I can find a turner for a brower tophatch incubator? I've tried contacting brower but that doesn't work. been looking everywhere for parts. Gotta get my incubators ready before next years pheasant eggs.

Sounds great!
I have the TH110. I manually set it to 100. It was good for awhile but temperature was still unstable. Might make a skirt for it.
Just seems like a lot less hassle to Buy a hovabator with a turner :)

all of my eggs were fertile, cept 2 duds (fresh from my flock of EE's). I had 45 eggs in the incubator. out of the 43 good eggs I got 9 chicks. The hatch before I had 17 eggs, all fertile, 2 chicks. The incubator does not hold the temp well. How good of a hatch rate do you have with the hova on...
I have found a good deal on ebay :) Just wanting to see how good the hatch rate is. I have heard alot of bad things and alot of good things. But want to see what BYC members think. you have or havn't had experience with hatching? What type of incubator will you be using?
I am looking at purchasing a hovabator with egg turner after having a horrible hatch rate with my brower top hatch. Just wondering if anyone could tell me how successful they've been with these types of incubators "hovabators". I have thought about paying the extra buck for brinsea but ...
well, I got 9 out of 30. And that is alot better than I thought.. considering the heat spike. Will post some pics when I get time.
I also brought home 8 french black copper marans and 4 (mix of splash, black & blue) orpingtons. Had to pay a pretty penni but so worth it!!
7 out of 8 is goooooodddd!!!! Chicks are wayyy tooo cutteee :P
oh please show pictures when these guys hatch.
What a lovely variety!

I've got a pip! Seems like the temp spike didn't bother this one. We will see about the others in the next couple of days. my hatch is suppost to be due tomorrow - keep getting the dates mixed up. So I see I have an early bird ;). Will keep ya'll updated.
