He does jump up a lot and even cut his head once. Hopefully that's all it is. Thanks for the screen suggestion. I have some in the garage so 'll do that today.
I'm pretty sure that they are sexed correctly. I've had them for about 1 1/2 years without seeing any inappropiate aggressive behavior. Can that change after this long?
I have the same problem... my male button quail is going bald. He has a female buddy, I feed them game bird feed, boiled eggs, calcium grit and an occasional branch of millet seed. He does seem healthy otherwise. Any suggestions or problems I should be watching for?
