My aunt and uncle have a rooster and hen for sale for $20. They are in their sixties and he is a bit to protective for them. Beautiful pair of birds. I only have a picture of the rooster. We are between Augusta and Brunswick.
The feeder and water is great but what do you rest the top of the jug in inside the bucket to control how or how much water and or food comes out.

These are a couple of my hens and the rooster, the gray chicks may have all come from the hen with the gray on her neck. her parents were also white on black.

I have three that color, and there is barring. I dont know what is in the background of the parents. I usually get all black babies but this year got these three. They are just pets and i assume not purebred. I dont really care just thought it was unusual.

I've never had a problem with my silkies bothering new babies. I've had some hatched in the coop and some i've put in with the hen after a few days and they have always been great with them. I'd watch them for a little while but things should be fine. The rooster will probably start feeding them...
I have a silky hen setting on 10 silky eggs due to hatch on the 21st. I plan to take the babies and raise them since the hen is my aunts. None of my hens were broody so had to borrow one from her.
