I had my first baby born sometime during the night! I went out this morning and my hen was pecking pretty hard at the baby. I removed it and put it in a brooder. Hope everything will be ok. Now we wait till Friday for the other 5!

Mine got a biscuit, a few bugs I found and I cut up potatoes (uncooked) and stuck them on the wire so they could peck at them they loved it!! I get a kick out of watching them fight over them.
wait till it gets dark outside when they are sitting you may be able to catch them better at that time. I know during the day I can't pet my pullets but at night I can go out and am able to pet them. Hope this helps
