We just turned our first batch of RiR's out on Thanksgiving day. We put them in the coop at a tad over 6 weeks old. They were doing the exact same thing so we added a lamp at night just to see what would happen and they seem much happier now:) They are spread out and scratching around now.Seems...

Here are some pics from 4 weeks ago up til today. We are about 80% done on the coop. I'm thinking about turning them out on Thanksgiving, hoping with a heat lamp and plenty of straw they will be ok. It gets pretty chilly up here in the mountains of east TN. The pictures should be clickable.
Hi there friends...I have finally talked the wife into allowing me to get some chickens! We have 25 RiR's that we bought from Estes a few weeks ago.They are in brooder # 2 at the moment. I will post pics soon!
