    they are fabulous and once they get laying they lay well. i believe there are quite a few different colours like cuckoo, red, white and some of them have a pea comb, i have the silver-grey type.

    it sounds like she is broody,make sure that there is not any eggs under her some hens will pretend to lay in a nestbox but them don't lay an egg put your hand under her and see if it is warm and then look to see if see riggles to try and warm your hand up,if so she is broody.

    I think that you have a hen and a cockerel there what colour of pekin are they? if they are lemon pekin the hen is usually a darker buff colour.
