I ordered 3 chicks this spring. My salmon favorelle is 100 percent cockerel. I'm now suspicious of my Silver laced Wyandotte. She has pretty poor lacing, but im going to be more bummed if 2 out of the 3 are males!
Just got this golden laced wyandotte, not completely sure on age, but id say 9-12 weeks. Waddles are kind of big i thought, but not sure. I heard you can tell by the feathers on wyandottes. Anyone? Would love some opinions[/IMG]
Thanks for the response. The egg shells get mixed in the feed, but the oyster shells are separate free choice. We are not on well water, connected to city water. Feed is always available, nature wise layer. But she gets to free range almost every day, i know she gorges on worms and grubs lately...
