    Naked Neck chick unusual coloring

    Hi, I have a 4 day old Naked Neck Turken. I have never owned one before and most pictures show a solid colored bird. This chick has unusual coloring of her first wing feathers. Has anyone ever seen coloring like this? Could this indicate that it is a roo instead? Thanks, Motts

    Hi, I have searched and have been unable to find the answer to my question. Why do people but large 12 X12 or small brick-like pavers under their coop and run? Is it just for water and to help prevent rotting of the wood or is there other reasons? Thanks:)
