Hey, I'm trying to think of a creative name for my fresh eggs business. I want it to be something different and modern...the egg puns seem a little overused. I was thinking along the lines of Keep Calm and Raise Chickens, or #fresheggs...I live at the beach, and my flock's in my backyard. Any ideas?

We'll, I'm thinking roo. The comb is pretty large, and although the feather patterning is pretty steady, I can see some red on the shoulders. Red = roo. I may be wrong, though

Well that is wonderful! For a while people were saying cockerel, but I was still keeping my fingers crossed for pullet. I'm so glad I don't have to give her up. She's super friendly, and I didn't want to have to seperate her from her favorite flock mates!

Well that seems like good news! She does have some hackle feathers, but she NEVER raises them. Plus, I've noticed that some EE hens just have very long neck feathers. As far as saddle feathers, I'm not sure. It's only puffy down there!

I know how u feel! I have an EE that may be a cockerel, but I'm hoping she isn't because she's BEST FRIENDS with another one of my pullets. Like they won't leave each other's sides. If the EE's a cockerel I'll have to separate them!!!! :(
