Any Florida breeders on here??? I'm looking for Buff barred, Splash, or Lemon blue cochin bantams hatching eggs that are local.....shipped eggs just are not working for me, the postal service has not been kind to my eggs :(

Nevaschickens, I would love to find some local breeders as well in this area. What are you looking for? I'm loving the Cochin bantams....have only found one person local, but it will be a while before she has eggs.

Thanks for the advice.....he's breathing and chirping!!! He has a sibling waiting for him, he fully hatched on Monday after pipping early on Friday...I had to assist....2 other's have internally pipped and the other 4 are moving nicely....all due tomorrow.... Lost 6 I think I'll take a break...

Need some help here....my duckling has pipped the wrong end of the egg....I removed the little bit of shell and saw it pushing fiercely on the outer membrane....so I made a tiny hole where it was pushing and luckily NO blood....he's chirping at me, but I can't see anything.....What do I do???

I had an early pipper yesterday under my mama duck.....huge air cell......it grew so rapidly. I decided to bring it in and keep an eye on it, glad I did!!! Day 28 here for my Muscovy eggs...8 are moving beautifully and 1 is questionable. 7 Day's to go...I soooo can't wait for these babies to hatch!!!!

I would get some, but my kid's really enjoy watching them vein and grow in the egg....then the excitement of the hatch!!!! Beautiful memories for my kid's and I!!!
