Also Blonde looks a little too much like a hen which may explain the filling out and less aggressive behavior. Why do you think Blonde is a roo? If Blonde is a hen you may only need to ax the roo causing the problems.

We cross leghorns to RIRs and our chickens look just like this. The rounded tail in your upper pic looks very henlike. Unfortunately you're right in assuming the "pointy" feathered guys are probably roos.

Looks cocky to me. The comb and wattles aside those tail feathers look very rooster like.

Sounds like submissive behavior to me. We see this a lot in our hens right about the time they reach breeding age. She just recognizes you as the boss!

The leg color is similar to hatchery quality BRs, while they are not standard with slate legs I don't think... The barring is the big thing that makes me think Maran. BRs usually have that nice clean barring while the cuckoo barring is definitely messier.

All points tell me it's an easter egger or other mix. Because of their mixed heritage these girls can be really productive as they tend to have less recessive traits than pure bred hens.
