Just started a hobby farm about 6 months ago and love ever minute of it. I am Looking for any "fun" breeds of chickens and different breeds of ducks. Would love to find a few more polish chickens and some silkies would be great to, but i am up for anything! :)

I had just the 2 polish hens, but i have 4 more leghorned hens and 6 pekin ducks.

ok heres my problem. I had 2 polish hens and i got them when they were just under a year old...now that they are just over a year old i come outside this morning to let everyone out for the day and one of the polish hens is laying on the ground dead. NO marks or anything to suspect foul play...

ive started to notice that the drakes are all over one of the hens. she tries to run away a lot but there are 3 on 1 so it makes it hard. should i separate them. when i got them they were unsexed babies so i didnt realize i was getting 3 drakes. is there something i should be doing differently?

I have 6 Pekin ducks who have recently started to become sexual. I have 3 drakes and 3 hens. I close all of my birds in at night and thought that would make the Pekin ducks lay their eggs inside. Is this true? I have been reading alot that Pekins are famous for laying eggs anywhere they feel...
