Bantam breed that lay biggest egg

I find it amazing that my Large Fowl BR lays an egg 2.1oz (who is quite big) & my bantam Cochin (who is maybe 1/4 her size) lays an egg 1.5oz! So, I am interested in finding what Bantam lays the larger egg (being B.Cochins are suppose to be small compared to other Bantams)

cleaning coop and damage to yard

Chickens are very social I would suggest at least 3 in the event something happens to 1! I would suggest a tractor you could move to certain areas maybe the kids don't play in (or just move around the edge of property/yard) so they could get fresh grass!

    Standard vs bantam: newbie questions

Bantams do have a better egg to feed ratio, they are great in small spaces! My large Fowl are sweet also they come running when you open the door, some will sit in your lap but, my bantams sit longer cuddle up & go to sleep in my lap.

2 questions I am looking to add to flock! 1) What is a economical chicken (good feed to egg ratio) & not flighty! 2) I like the look of the Silver Spangled Appenzeller but, I have read they don't do well in confinement. Was wondering if anyone has experience with temperament & confining?
