Hmm I did just try but the camera isn't picking it up at all, thanks though i leave it a few more days just to be sure. Would the air sac grow if the egg was infertile? :)
So I've got an egg in the incubator basically long story short my female runner died a week later I found an egg of hers and thought I would try incubate it, it's been in for 7 days and the air sac is definatly growing but I can't see any blood vessels, I think I can see a faint dark spot in the...
Don't be worried you get what you get.. I had 1 male and 1 female together and they were fine you'll just have to wait and see worse case scenario you might have to give away/sell or keep seperate a few of the males, I'd say 1:2 or 1:3 would be ideal don't worry though
If you keep all males they will be happy and all females will be happy, you can also have 1 male and the rest females but more males than females is a no no as needlessjunk said they can injure the females from over mating with them .. Little pests! Haa :)
Hi, basically as the title says I have an egg in the incubator and it's only been in for 3 days but when you candle it it looks like the air sac is on the side of the egg rather than at the end, will the duckling still develop?
Thanks :)
Hi all, I went out to the ducks this morning and the drake had a cut/slice on the top of his beak from the nostril to nearly the end of his beak.. not sure how. I am wondering if it will heal? What can i do other than put fresh water to stop infections?
reluctant to take to the vets as last...
