Well I wish more hatched but only 8 did and they all are healthy looking,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Eggs 1- 10days old were only ones to hatch

5 hatched so far and 3 have pip'd . eggs was 1 to 23 days old when put in bator and all the action has been from eggs 1 to 9 days old . I will post some pics and more results soon

Ron, The oldest egg is 23 days

we set 41 [full tray] bcm eggs for the nyd hatch. Eggs are from my 3 favorite hens 1 fav rooster - collected daily since 11-17 til 12-10 .... all eggs have date wrote on them and will be paying close track of the oldest eggs for my own data on how long eggs stay good .

I have a light on timer that goes on little before sunset and goes out at 10pm , Im expecting eggs any day now.

Here is a pic of the new years hatch . The flock consists of 5 and seem to be very friendly and they don't wander real far from coop like some of other breeds I had. I would like to know what some of the BCM veterans see , good and bad with the flock [18.5 wks old in pic ]

I seen a red fox 1pm today walking north to south towards a farmers flock about 500ft away .
