And also she is starting to get a little bald spot on the top of her head I think she might be one of the roosters favorite girls. I have 17 hens and 1 rooster.     Thanks so much! no insecticides at all. Usually nothing grows for me lol. The wild birds have been devouring them so I just thought my chickies would like them :) but needed to know for sure, thank you

    Hello all, my question is I am growing my own sunflowers and was wondering if it is safe to feed my chickens the unshelled seeds? Can I give them the whole head to pick at the seeds themselves? Kinda new to this chicken thing I have had 19 of them for almost a year and am still learning lol...

    Oops sorry Kathy just one last last question. I wormed two days ago and now my neighbor has a broody hen and wants a few fertile eggs. Will they be dead or deformed if her hen hatches them? I have been just throwing the eggs out since I wormed them. I wouldn't want to give her unfit eggs. Thanks

    Thank you! I wish I could afford Valbazen, and someone told me safeguard would not kill tapeworm as the vet tested the poo. I will be saving up for the next worming I have to do in the future :) I just love my chickies lol. Thank you so much for your reply! Have a wonderful day! Julie
