    I called Durham town hall also cause we are considering moving there. The person I spoke with said you could have both hens and roosters.

    Ducklings Shipping Disaster - Meyer Hatchery

    I just ordered ducks that are shipping today :( I hope they arrive safely. I asked when I called and they said all ducks are shipped out of CA. They hatched their own chickens and turkeys but not the ducks.

    It's really best to have more then one female with a rooster. They can be tough on a hen. In general they say at least 3 to a flock. That way if you lose one you still have 2 that are together.
