I just got 5 silkie roosters that I plan to use in my breeding program after they make it through quarentine...when I was taking them out of the cage I counted their toes to make sure they were correct and noticed that the spurs on both feet had grown into a complete circle...should I cut them...

rooster is present and doing his job...2-4 have hatched...only thing she can see is no white part to egg..chalaza is missing..could it be genetic ??

my friend has a problem with her hens...she tries to incubate the eggs but they don't hatch..when the eggs are opened after being layed the chalaza is missing..the white stringy thing in the egg...is this why they wont hatch...is there any way this can be fixed or is it a genetic thing...any...

lockdown today...added sponges and water and humidity is up around 70%...eggs are pipping already...will see how many hatch... :)

the mice have no problem with it...ignore it totally...waste of cash...buy a trap...better results

a bowl of rice will help remove excess humidity. It will draw all the moisture out of the bator.
