Update! A couple months after this post we got 3 more hens. Then in January we bought a farm and now have 23 chickens! Chickens are addictive! :-)

Apparently, Tractor Supply decided that they would distribute this newer breed of chicken called Asian Blue. Since there is very little information on them, I thought I would post a picture of my Asian Blue rooster and hen! :-)

I got them from my local Tractor Supply and Southern States. I'm not sure what hatcheries they use.

Ugghhh...we got 19 "sexed" pullets and we have at least 6 roos that we know of so far. :-(

I have two nesting boxes. I will try to keep watch tomorrow to see if I can pinpoint who is laying.
