    When to butcher dual purpose/ egg laying breed cockerels?

    I have several too many partridge barnvelder roos and red sussex roos. Does anybody know when the ideal age is to butcher these? Most of the info I can find is on meat birds particularly, and I don't want to have them processed too young and not get any meat off of them or wait too long either...
