I had issues with all this rain in NY in my chicken run with water puddles and being all muddy. I put about 4 inches of sand in the run and under the coop and no more problems. My chickens love it. They love running around there and I always see them rolling around in it.

Here are some new pics of the girls on there roosts. Took them almost 2 weeks to learn to go up the ramp themselves and jump up to there roosts. So far 2 days in a room there inside by 7:30pm.

I have a few finishing touches to do. Such as run the electric underground to the coop for the lights & to power the automatic door, and to have electric for the water heater for the winter.
