The brooder is a 3'6" x 2'4" plastic tote with 8 ducklings in it. We started out at 90* in the brooder and by now, they appear 'hot' at 80*. We spend a lot of time with them and they don't seem to preen excessively and they don't peck at each other excessively.

Coming to Nebraska: On march 12, I should receive 8 Cayuga and 2 pekin female ducklings. And April 8, I should receive 5 barred rock female chicks and 5 easter egger female chicks.
