Today I got my first goose egg from my Toulouse!
So here is the thing.
Back in the day (around 2017) I bought a nice pair of Toulouse geese and a pair of Swedish ducks, then, one of them (geese) was snatched by a predator... (time passes)
Around July 2020 I got more ducks and more geese...
We have a little chick who can barely eat at all, his beak is misaligned, the lower part of the beak is about 50 degrees off... Any ideas about what to do?
We have had him since early August now, and he has survived this far, but he is almost constantly screaming and hungry, we sometimes try...
16 chicks, came early august, how long do you think they will still need a heat lamp.
(keeping in mind October/November upstate NY temperatures, despite an insulated coop).
I have a Toulouse goose, which I believe to be female...
The latter assumption is thwarted by the fact that as far as I think I know it hasn't layed a single egg!
I have had it for some time now, I got a pair of toulouse geese, but while I was away it seems a predator came and snatched one...
My goose used to be really friendly, to all, it (not sure if it's a he or a she) and the two ducks we have, always used to follow everyone around and never hiss at anyone. Then that changed....
I was just outside and my goose, which was never really aggressive towards me but was to others, bit...
