    Persistant yawning 7 week old Orpington

    Okay... I need advice!! Our 7 week old Orpington has been persistently yawning. This bird has not been exposed to the main coop, and is still in the brooder pen. None of the other birds in the pen are exhibiting this behavior. S/he seems to be eating and drinking fine. No oozing from the nares...

    Silkie's comb

    I have an 8 week silkie. I believe is a cockerel. He walks upright, bumps chests with my other young cockerel, and is twice the size of his "sister" hatched the same day. But the thing that really sticks out to me is his comb! It has already begun to turn red-ish ... Just wanted to throw it...

    BO gender?

    sick 3 week Buff Orpington.

    Last night I noticed my buff was standing to sleep and I didn't think anything of it. Today, I noticed it still doing that, but it is also not the active chick it usually is.     Gender? Breed?

    Bought this one as an Ameraucana pullet. I *think* it is actually an EE. Starting to also think it is a cockerel. Any thoughts? Hatch date is approx. March 6th. She/he is very sweet and non-aggressive... if anything she avoids conflict entirely.
