I just got 3 pekin ducklings tonight :)

4/6 and I don't have any lights on in the coop

I got 5/6 today :) last year at this time, we got none from the girls....they quit laying last winter :(

I've been thinking of getting ducks this year too, can you house chickens and ducks together in the same coop?

This hen was egg bound in october, I went out to the coop tonight and noticed she's missing quite a bit of feathers in her back end and she has bare skin exposed. Do you think this could be a prolapsed vent?

One of my golden comet hens has not been laying right for the past couple of weeks. She either doesnt lay at all or onky lays shell less egg yolks that are very runny and the clear liquid is bright yellow. They are fed regukar laying hen feed plus oyster shells and are turned out 2 times a day...
