I'm just asking for a friend that I work with. One of her kids called the police (LOL!!) to see what he should do. The police officer helped him look around for a nest or signs of other babies but couldn't find anything. As of now they are keeping it warm and feeding it bugs and whatnot.

She lives in a subdivision. 1/4 acre lots, houses 10 feet away from each other, etc. That's what I find so strange.
