    Help my hens are plucking each other's feathers!!!!!!

    Anyone have any suggestions we have 9 hens and all but 2 have bare spots from being plucked from each other. We have tried adding the chicken swing and also the block treat in case it is caused by boredom. Not sure what to do:hu

    4 1/2 month old hen has blood on her back end

    We noticed this and have separated her from the others as they were pecking at her. Could this have been caused by our rooster? They are all 4 1/2 months old. Could something else be going on? Wondering if we should get rid of our rooster.

    My daughter noticed today that one of our barred rocks has a much larger and redder comb than our other two. Is she just growing faster or do we have a rooster?:/

    We have two separate groups of chicks. The first are about 11 weeks old. The second group is about 6 1/2 weeks now. On Friday morning we put the younger chicks in a dog crate in the chicken coop.     Hens or roosters?

    These are the youngsters of our 11! They are about 6 1/2 weeks old. We are really questioning if we have any hens. 2 Rhode Island reds and 1 white leghorn which looks like it is growing Spurs. The little brown leghorn seems most like a hen. Any help would be greatly appreciated
