Not sure who laid this egg in my coop but it has happened on several differnt occasions, can anyone tell me what might be causing this or is it a breed thing?

I was told they are black jersey giants but the bottom of their feed are white-ish... And jersey giants are yellow. What do y'all think?
I'm considering purchasing a battery powered thermometer, with humidity reader built in as well. I'm not sure how long the batteries will last, so I was wondering if it's okay to turn on thermometer every few days? Or no leave on constantly?
Will this produce the fast growing Corning cross you can get from hatcheries? Also any other meat bird crosses that will grow quickly and can be bred at home.
Haven't done it yet but very interested in trying when my hens start laying, main thing I would like to know is will the chicks be able to be auto sexed?
