How do you tell if your duck is a girl or a boy? I know if there tail is curled it's a boy, but it's too young to tell if it's tail will be curled.

My 15 month duck pecks at my shoes and just holds on with its beak. If I'm not wearing socks, it hurts really bad as it pinches my feet. It does this EVERY TIME I am around it. He's a crested duck

I don't know if my ducks leg is broken or what it's twisted which makes it overlap the other one. It's getting worse and worse.
