Ive just checked the tail and there is no hard feathers in it , it is all like a ball of fluff

I have only had my chickens a wk they are 4 wks old , yesterday I was playing with them on the floor and noticed a red mite ... just the one... I havent seen any on the birds and where they are living is not infested ... Do I need red mite powder , or chicken lice powder ? and any links where...
