Ike my male has what looks to be steel wool growing out of his chest area. So far it's about 1 & 1/2 inches long...both he & my female are 8months old.

I have one male Ike & one female Tina, Ike was all over her the entire month of September. Tina started laying eggs k n October, a total of 24! She still lays eggs in November so this may not be usual, although like u i'm new to raising turkey's.

Hi, I seem to have issues with writing a post on my antroid & or this app, hope this time works. I have 2 turkey's Ike & tina, both born around march. Tina has been laying eggs (finally ) & she rarely nest on them. Normal or not?
