I just finished my $20 home made incubator. Bouth only temperature controller from Ebay, air fan from Ebay, humidity indicator from Ebay and light bulbs from local store. Rest is just scrap and waste materials... Hope will work :) 30 Black Mongolian Chickens eggs already inside :D

Here they are :D They are still young - only 4 months old but growing very nice and beautiful... and I'm not in rush ;)

I live in North of Thailand in Phayao (exactly between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai) and I have Ayam Cemani already - 5 hens and 1 rooster :) Black like hell itself :) not even small sign of colour on their feathers :)

I'm from Poland... but I guess you asking where I live :) I live in Thailand do when you happen to be on holiday one day you are more then welcome to visit me on my small farm ;) I think they call them here Mongol chicken :D I don't know why but I saw some Thai chicken keepers calling similar...

Many thanks for explanation (Y) I know that they are not Ayam Cemani... I will breed them anyway :) And maybe I will try to cross one of my roosters with some eggs layers :D Or maybe some Thai Chicken (Gai Ban) ;)

I know that it's not pure blood Ayam Cemani but I love this young rooster... His colors and posture :)

Hi all :) Can someone give me any idea what kind of breed this can be ? As per Ayam cemani standard is disqualified from this breed even they have black bones, skin etc etc. They have some colorful pattern on the feathers - special one of the roosters... It's beautiful but I would prefer him to...

Well... I have this problem. One of my RIR roosters was injured during the fight with other rooster. Some kind of muscle injury. I separated him from flock and seems that after 2 weeks or so he don't feel any pain in his leg but there new problem arise. While his leg was injured he was jumping...

So here is some update... As treatment didn't help I decided to cut this and take away everything what was inside. There was some kind of white/yellowish liquid. Later was desinfection every day and now seems to be ok... she have still little swollen under they eye but it's smaller every day...

Thank you very much for all those advices. Seems like one of my hens got the same problem so I don't have to ask anywhere else just implement advices from this topic. As I live in Thailand (very low lev of veterinary service) not all specific and medicaments are available but I will try sort...

Thanks everyone for such nice and warm welcome :) And my roosters are arguing from time to time anyway... I wanna buy one more (Plymouth Rock) but have no idea how to add him to the flock as my 3 RIR roosters are very aggressive and 1 Warren I have even its older had to submit to them.
