This saddens me more than I released it would. Anne McCaffrey was a good friend to me growing up, at some of my saddest and lonelier times as a teenager, all I needed was one of her books to make me feel better. My heart and prayers go out to her family at this time.
That's why I'm so unsure about it! My adult Ancona is as bossy as it comes, so behaviour of chick doent worry me too much! I guess I wait for a crow or egg???

I think your Right, with boy boy girl! The Ancona and RIR frequently battle, and bump chests together. The dom does not join in!

Hi I have a 9 weeks old Bantam Rhode Island Red, who has very odd looking feathers. They look almost slightly greasy (shiny) and the most of the feathers are all split? Otherwise healthy chick!

Hoping you guys can help. I need to make space and really need to get rid of the excess boys here, so any imput would be great1 My first choices to go are the two brown leghorns, as i'm sure these are boys, as is the buff sussex I think. Any other very obvious boys at this stage??
