Would any body happen to know what other breeds besides the hamburg and brahma were used in the making of the wyandotte? Im wondering if the single comb is a genetic mutation from the lines being bred to close at the hatchery or if it is a rare through back to a breed that was used in the making...

I ordered some of these from idealpoultry in texas. One of my roosters and one of my hens have single combs. Does anybody know of a breed that looks like the Silver Laced Wyandotte and has a single comb? Or did i just get a hen and rooster with a genetic defect? The look absolutely like Silver...
