No I do not know the age for sure. She had been at the rural king long enough for them to discount her so I am not exactly sure of the age. I thought she might be older too.

So my BSL laid her first egg Sunday. It was small but I was pumped. To my surprise she has laid six eggs on six days. Is that normal. I assumed five eggs ina seven day stretch. Her only partner is a Barred Rock that is not layinf yet to my knowledge. I am off tomorrow so I hope to observe...

So I got three chicks from my local Rural King. They were advertised as barred rock pullet. One died after a week leaving me with two. I was extremely paranoid another would die leaving me with one. That fear did not materialize as they seem to be two healthy pullets. My concern now is...
