My main concern was did I have enough space? If so, how many more birds could I fit comfortably in there? I have 34 now and the pen is 20x16 ft. I think that bird was about to jump in that red nesting box lol. We are planning on getting nesting boxes asap. We had two roosts in the open area...

I'm pretty sure the guy said they are 4 months old. The new ones are the silver laced wine(know that's not the right way to spell that) dottes. The others are some barred rocks, araconnas, sex links, and mutts. I have about 34 birds in a 10 x 20 coop. Is that too small? And the food and water...

We have two banny hens that we let go in the yard. We had them out for about 4 months and put them back in the pen. They have been in there for about 3 weeks and still no eggs. Why could this be?

I'm probably about to ask a very stupid question and I just acknowledged that so please don't belittle me. I've seen roo's fight in the pen and we just bought some new "hens". I know the difference between roo's and hens(so far). They are fighting with my other hens and look just like roo's do...

Sorry to hear about your flock. I wouldn't start sweating just yet if you ordered them yesterday. If they are shipping chicks give it two more days. I've heard they have to get em to ya within three days or the little ones die. Best of luck and update us on your new birds!

I'm not sure if you can post websites on these forums but I was wondering how you can find local breeders online? I googled mississippi chicken breeders and nothing really cmae up but the large chicken houses. If anyone could help itd be greatly apprecitated.
