    You will get attached and end up keeping them all as I did. I got 5 but one did not make it. I said I was not keeping a roo but guess what? I ended up with what I believe is 3 hens and only 1 roo. I can't get rid of him now. Mine are 6 weeks old.

    Yes, you are right. My husband spent a lot of time building our chickens a coop and run. I should have said........After the chicken house and run is complete raising the chickens is the easy part! Then again it depends on how many you have. I only have 8.
