  1. Sallys Mom

Regina George is supposed to be a white leghorn pullet.

It is very clear that she is not a leghorn pullet. Any thoughts on what she is? Her legs are huge. She is around 13-14 weeks old. I still think she's a pullet, but ultra huge!!! Very little comb and wattle development. Thankyou for any input.

    Ayam Cemani

This pretty peep has been at our local feed store for 2 weeks. I believe this is a hen. I was thinking around 10 weeks, but she is clucking. Any thoughts on age and gender? This bird makes a strange sound when our rooster crows.

    Wing Defotmity

I'm guessing this barred rock chick to be about 1.5 weeks old. We've had her 1 week today. I've left the wing alone, hoping it would correct itself, however it is not. ITCHY 2 DAY OLD CHICKS!! They arrived yesterday from Meyer Hatchery. Within a few hours in the brooder, all 3 started itching like crazy. I thoroughly cleaned the crate they are in. It's lined with an absorbant pad, a nice later of freshly opened pine shavings and then 2 layers of paper towels...

We've switched her to high protein starter feed, vitamin/electrolyte water that we get in her via tomatoes...
  6. Sallys Mom

Hi! I'm Sallys Mom and we need help!!!

Sally is 4-5 years old. She is our only hen and she is family. A friend rescued her as a tiny chick, from waste he scooped up at a chicken farm to make fertilizer. His family hand raised her and she won ribbons at the fair. Two years ago they had to move, so she came here to our small farm. She...
